Are you looking for some great poses to enhance your comic art? Do you need some reference for defined anatomy and problem areas like foreshortening? Then this Comic Book Poses – Heroes Pack might just be what you are looking for.
Don’t get me wrong, nothing will replace hard work and drawing out your own poses but I have learned a ton over the years by studying from another artists that I admire.
By redrawing their poses and adding my own twist to them I am able to produce my work faster and learn immensely at the same time. That is why I felt the need to create this pose pack.
I also wanted to create this pose pack because I absolutely love breaking down interesting poses and figuring them out. To me it’s sort of like a Rubik’s cube. It is intriguing and I am always excited to do more.
Over time by using these and by drawing your own versions it will start to make sense. Don’t expect the transformation to happen in a month or two but rather a few years.
I know a lot of artists don’t like to hear that but it’s the truth. I look back at my work from 10 years ago and realize I have learned so much that my art is almost unrecognizable from where I was at.
You just have to keep putting in the work and studying every aspect of drawing the human body. Just remember, if it was easy, everyone would be good at it and no one would think you were special. 😉
So I hope you enjoy these poses and find them to be useful within your own artistic devlopement.
Just remember, these are meant to be references for you to create your own vision. Experiment with proportions, light and shadow, stylized anatomy, and whatever else that creative brain is telling you to do!
Thanks for your support and keep up the good fight! 🙂
Sincerely,
Robert A. Marzullo
